What is Equine Assisted Learning?
What is Equine Assisted Learning?
Equine Assisted Learning, or EAL for short, is where a trained instructor faciltates interaction between horses and participants to work on personal development goals. You do not need any previous horse experience to take part, and you will not be riding in any of the sessions. Instead you will work with the horses "from the ground".
At EquiConnect our horses will take you on a learning journey, starting wherever you are right now. They might challenge you to step out of your comfort zone, they might show you things about yourself in a non-judgemental way, and they will communicate non-verbally while paying close attention to your energy and body language. At all times they will be a partner you can trust and rely on to gently work with you on your goals.
EquiConnect offers Equine Facilitated Learning services for adults, children and young people in the vicinity of Banbury, North Oxfordshire. Our location is suitable for those travelling from Northamptonshire, Warwickshire and Buckinghamshire.
