Nadine has been around horses for more than 25 years. She learnt riding in a typical riding school where it was normal for instructors to shout at riders and horses. Later she became a horse owner, buying 'Komet' at the age of 17. With Komet she learned about Natural Horsemanship - a way of working with the horses' natural instincts and methods of communication.
For Nadine, spending time with horses in the midst of stressful life events is a very positive calming experience, and she is an ambassador for the benefits to personal wellbeing that such time can provide.
Equine Facilitated Learning (EFL) provides a structure for anyone, especially those without horse experience or access, to benefit from time in the presence of these gentle animals. Nadine's passion of wanting others to experience the positive impact of horses on one's life led her to become a qualified EFL Coach.
Fun Fact: Prior to becoming a coach, Nadine was an engineer, and has both German and British degrees in Mechanical Engineering. She has worked in the Aerospace and Medical Device Industries.
